How listing works

• Item name, category, brand, model and condition.
• Your daily (and optional weekly) price in ringgit, any deposit and delivery fee.
• What's included, such as batteries, cables or a carry case.
• The pickup area (never your home address) and whether you can deliver.
• Your requirements for renters.
• At least two real photos of this item. Weapons, controlled substances, hazardous chemicals and illegal goods can't be listed.

Every new listing is reviewed by Sewasy Gear before it appears in search. We check that the listing is complete, the photos show a real item and the information is clear. Review doesn't verify ownership, safety or the item's condition.

If a listing isn't approved, you'll see the reason in your dashboard and can edit and resubmit it.

   You receive a request

   With the renter's dates, pickup preference, name, phone and message.

   Accept or decline

   Accepting shares your phone number with the renter. Declining lets them look elsewhere quickly.

   Agree the rental directly

   Confirm the final price, deposit, condition and handover with the renter. Sewasy Gear doesn't collect payments or issue contracts.

• Press "Still available" in your dashboard at least once a week. Items show "Availability updated recently" for 3 days after a confirmation.
• Items not confirmed for 30 days are hidden from search until you confirm them again.
• Block dates when the item is booked elsewhere, so it doesn't appear for those dates.
• Pause an item or mark it unavailable at any time.

You can ask Sewasy to review your identity from your provider profile. If approved, your listings show "Identity verified". It means Sewasy reviewed who you are according to our process — it does not verify ownership, company registration, safety or the item's condition.

• Only list items you are entitled to rent out, and follow the laws that apply to you.
• Only rent out items that are safe to use, and include any instructions renters need — Sewasy Gear doesn't inspect items.
• Use real photos and accurate prices. Don't ask renters to pay before they have seen the item.
